Ledges & Foothills
Ledges
Ledges were inspired by the rock formations of Capitol Reef National Park in Utah. These jutting stratographic shapes were created by the sediment of ancient sea beds and exposed by the forces of wind and water.
Foothills
The concept of this installation grew from aerial views Sorensen’s experienced flying over the rolling foothills between Denver and Aspen, Colorado. The four elements, earth, fire, air and water are represented in the projected video segments. The music is composed by Stella Sung and the video produced by David Hiser.
