MONOTYPE COLLAGE

This monotype evolved from my work in clay. This piece is based on “entradas” or entrances, which I encountered while hiking the Pyrenees’ Mountains in Spain and France last year. This monotype is reminiscent of the geometric shapes and peeling stucco of the 17th century “entradas” of the homes in the villages in the region.
