"These two towers with their overlapping plates and meandering
fissures seem to have been shaped in geologic time, by forces at large
in the earth's very core. But they might just as well be armored limbs
of some uncatalogued dinosaur, torn in a spasm of prehistoric violence
and left for us to discover as petrified ghosts. There is a primal presence
which can be felt in the mummified vertical forms as they stand, side-by
side and speak silently of their tombs."
-- Phillip Bishop, Art Critic
These pinnacles, built in layers, stacked and pounded, incised and impressed
as the layers grew, with petroglifs and marks of ancient years imbedded
in the surface, represent layers of antiquity and layers of the earth’s
metamorphosis. After the clay has been formed, it is placed in a large
kiln, fired to 2100 degrees F. and turned to stone. Placed side by side,
a vortex of positive energy is created between these towers.
