DWELLINGS

The “Dwellings” were informed by the fishing equipment used by the Aborigines to encase the fish as they trapped. They appear as drawings in the sky, and could be metaphors for our house, our home, our personal being.  They stand tall in the air as vessels of our souls, as cocoons to live in, to develop; and grow within.  The rims, always curved inward, will hold you safe inside, the open sides will allow you to stay or leave freely, to explore your inner world and at once, to go out to explore the outer world.  Laying on their sides, or standing tall, these dwellings in the air, offer a place to live safely.
